If we’re being honest, London had my heart before we even landed in the UK. I had heard of the to-die-for food - anything from Indian to English pub to Thai to Mediterranean to Italian, beautiful architecture, numerous pubs, insane fashion scene, and quaint boroughs. Todd + I were there in September 2022, an interesting time in London to say the least. We were serendipitously there for the Queen’s memorial. We did attend and the outpouring of love and respect for her was beautiful. While the overall tone of the city was covered with grief, London did not disappoint my heightened expectations. I would move tomorrow and I cannot wait to go back.
